Southern Air can supply and install quality Solar Energy panels on your Home or Business

In Hobart Solar grid connected panels mounted on your roof can generate enough power to run appliances in your home and still have enough left over to sell back to Aurora.

To generate enough power to run your home you will require only 2 pieces of equipment.

1 - Solar panels which you have probably seen on your neighbors roof, anywhere from 8 to 24 panels.

2 - An inverter, this usually mounts close to your power switchboard and converts the DC voltage produced by the panels to 230volts AC which can be used by your home or the surplus sold to Aurora Energy.

To install an efficient 1.5kw system you will require approx 12 square meters of north facing roof space and a small amount of space beside your switchboard.

We use only quality equipment Tivok Solar PV Systems

Systems can be mounted on Tile or Corrugated Iron roof's, It takes approx 1 day to install a 2 kw system.

Aurora Energy has to approve the installation before any work starts this normally takes approx 10-14 days then your system can be installed the following week, this form can be downloaded from our literature below.

The Govt Solar scheme offer rebates in the form of STC"s (REC's) the amount of STC's depends on the size of the system chosen  (1.52kw = 80) -  (2.09kw = 90) - (3.04kw = 107)   (3.99kw = 124)  -  (5.13kw = 144) approx value of each credit can be confirmed on the site visit (1-2-2012 value $29.00 ea)
